The Lagos State Government says it has addressed the issue of delayed results by creating a portal to streamline the process of accessing results for the 2024 academic year.
The Lagos State Examination Board says the Exam Board’s Portal will streamline the results printing process by allowing schools access their results directly.
Orunsolu Adebayo, Director of the Lagos State Examinations Board, who announced this, says the new process ensures that delays and bottlenecks are eliminated for the 2024 academic year results and that the results of primary school students are now accessible through the online system.
The board, responsible for managing all exams in the state, including the Primary School (CAS), Junior Secondary (B.E.C.E), Public Service (Promotional Exams), and Screening/Model College Entrance Exams, says it has modernised its operations with a tech-driven approach. Additionally, the board offers other exam services such as trade tests and TEDAC.
Adebayo reveals that the release of the Year 2024 Placement Test by Continuous Assessment Scores (CAS) Results for Public and Approved Private Primary Schools in the state for the 2024/2025 Academic Session are now accessible on the examination board’s Portal.
Students can access their CAS results on the portal. Adebayo encouraged students to log in with their school’s default or existing Username and Password, provided during the registration of their pupils, to print out their results.
Additionally, he advises private school owners who participated in the test to promptly submit their results to the Lagos State Universal Basic Education Board (LASUBEB) for necessary actions. This will ensure that pupils who successfully passed the test are included in the first lists of pupils to be admitted to government public junior secondary schools for the 2024 academic session.
The Lagos State government is dedicated to promoting sustainable academic excellence and providing quality education for pupils seeking admission to state public junior secondary schools, according to Adebayo.
The Exams Board reassured stakeholders of the government’s commitment to the education policy that ensures “No child should be left behind”, guaranteeing equal treatment and opportunities for all children to access free education in Lagos State.
