French video-sharing website, Dailymotion has launched its 360 degree video player which will allow users discover contents in a new immersive and fascinating way, live or on-demand.
Whether it is TV series, music, sports or games, Dailymotion says its creators and partners can now upload 360 videos on the platform to connect and interact with their community, using this unique and captivating visual experience.
According to the company, the 360 videos are now available on desktop, via Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Edge and Opera browsers.
Dailymotion has also enabled 360 video viewing on mobile browsers running on Android and says the feature will be available in the next few weeks on Dailymotion’s native iOS and Android apps.
To get started with watching 360° videos on Dailymotion, users just need to click and drag on the player to ‘’look around’’ the video on desktop, while on mobile they simply have to tap and swipe their finger around and move the device.
