Online safety has become imperative as Nigerians move on to the Internet

IT security company, ESET has introduced beta version of ESET NOD32 Antivirus 10 together with a brand new product designed for home users, ESET Internet Security.

ESET says its Beta Program offers a first sneak peek of the brand new ESET Internet Security, which introduces a home network protection feature. This lets users test router vulnerabilities and to see devices connected to the same access point over time. This will help users see how safe their home network is, the technology security company says.

ESET Internet Security also feature webcam protection, a feature that controls processes and applications that access computer connected web cameras and displays notifications when unwanted applications try to access the camera.

According to Eduard Kesely, Product Manager at ESET, “the brand new ESET Internet Security builds upon our award-winning product portfolio and brings users the best mix of detection, speed and usability’’

ESET says that, “the newest products a set of privacy focused security features to our proven multi-layered protection, as well as business and user driven enablers.’’
