Accenture has appointed Mary Hamilton to the Board of Directors at Women Who Code, a not-for-profit organisation that works to inspire women to achieve success in technology careers.
Hamilton is a long-time advocate for women in pursuit of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM)-related careers. She is expected to have a strategic hand in shaping the organisation’s business development strategy, advising for sustainable growth, expanding global presence, cultivating leadership, helping to make Women Who Code a technology organization, and ultimately propelling more women leaders into technology careers around the world as a board member of the organisation.
“Mary is a leader in the industry and we’re honoured to have her join our Board of Directors,” Alaina Percival, the CEO and Board Chair of Women Who Code. “Her leadership will exponentially further our mission of inspiring women to excel in technology careers.”

Hamilton has a Bachelor of Science in Materials Science and Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
