Airtel Nigeria has introduced a web services platform for Small and Medium Scale Enterprises (SMEs) to target the vibrant small business sector.

Airtel Web Services offers is an enterprise solution that offers a bouquet of services ranging from web hosting to document management.

It will provide a means for small businesses in Nigeria to enjoy quality IT services without the cost burden of procuring, installing and maintaining IT hardware and software, the mobile phone company announced.

“With the Airtel Web Services, setting up basic, yet essential IT services like emails, web hosting, document management and storage, can be achieved with zero initial capital expenditure and minimal monthly expenses, according to the mobile network operator”, Segun Ogunsanya, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, Airtel Nigeria says.

According to Ogunsanya, the adoption of the innovative and affordable Airtel Web Services will empower small and medium organizations to operate with business professionalism and also reach larger target market without huge capital investment in IT facilities. It will also allow them focus on their core businesses.
