The Anambra State Government says it is launching SolutionLens, a digital platform expected to improve the government’s engagement with the citizens on February 25.

Mrs. Chiamaka Nnake, Commissioner for Budget & Economic Planning for Anambra State says the proposed SolutionLens is hoped to enhance digital governance and improve public service delivery, and will help the state to improve citizen engagement, transparency, and public service delivery..

Ahead of the launch, representatives from various Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) will undergo training to ensure that they can effectively use the platform. The training will take place on Tuesday, 18th February 2025, at the Solution Innovation District (The Destination Building), starting at 9:00 AM in which participants are expected to be punctual.

According to the Commissioner for Budget & Economic Planning, “SolutionLens is a transformative initiative designed to strengthen the interaction between the government and the people.”

She emphasises that the platform’s official launch scheduled for February 25, makes the training crucial for its smooth implementation.

The Anambra State ICT Agency will lead the training, providing MDAs with the necessary skills to maximize the platform’s potential.

Chukwuemeka Fred Agbata, the Managing Director of the ICT Agency, highlights the importance of this training. “The training,” he says, “is crucial in ensuring MDAs can seamlessly navigate the platform and that representatives must attend and actively participate, as their ability to respond efficiently to public inquiries depends on their understanding of the system.”

The Ministries that will be participating in the training include Works, Health, Environment, Budget & Economic Planning, Industry, Agriculture, Power & Water Resources, Transport, Housing, Education, Information, Lands, Justice, and the Solution Innovation District.
