The Anambra State Government has awarded contracts totalling ₦178,624,687.50 for the installation of free internet access in two of its tertiary institutions.
The Anambra State Government says the contracts will enhance digital learning at the two beneficiary tertiary institutions, Nwafor Orizu College of Education and College of Health Technology.

Swift Talk was awarded the sum of ₦ 93,107,362.50 for Nwafor Orizu College of Education, and Croz Enterprise, the sum of ₦85,517,325.00 for College of Health Technology to facilitate the project for both institution, the state government says.
This was disclosed at the 38th Anambra State Executive Council (ANSEC) meeting for good governance and the effective administration of Anambra State.
According to the state government, the contracts were awarded to Swift Talk Limited and Croz Enterprise for Nwafor Orizu College of Education and College of Health Technology respectively.
Swift Talk was awarded the sum of ₦ 93,107,362.50 for Nwafor Orizu College of Education, and Croz Enterprise, the sum of ₦85,517,325.00 for College of Health Technology to facilitate the project for both institution, the state government says.
The council also awarded contracts for the rehabilitation of various bad Federal roads and development of 624 open stalls within the Modern Bus Terminal in Ekwulobia. The contracts also include the installation of security equipment and features in newly-acquired security vehicles, and the completion of judges’ quartets for Anambra State Judiciary.
According to the council, ” these contracts are key projects that will expand and deepen the solutions government infrastructure revolution.”
The awards of these contracts, the state overnment says, are part of the plans of the Anambra State government to make life easier for the residents of the state.
