Babymomsi, a FemTech startup, says it is looking to raise pre-seed funding as it expands its baby tracking app.
The app which helps new parents monitor their infants’ daily activities also offer support for postpartum depression (PPD).

Babymomsi addressing fast-growing parenting technology market
The company, founded by two fathers, who says they struggled with keeping up with their newborns, is positioning itself in a fast-growing parenting technology market projected to reach $5.5 billion by 2033, according to Market.us.
Parklins Ifeanyichukwu, Co-founder and CEO Babymomsi, says the startup was born out of necessity. “When my wife and I welcomed our son, we struggled to track his activities while juggling work and life as new parents,” he says in a LinkedIn post. “My co-founder, a new dad to twins, faced a similar challenge.”

“What was worse? was how existing baby tracking apps felt like extra work rather than help so much that we preferred to keep track with notes, so we built Babylogger — a simple, intuitive, and empathetic baby activity tracking and maternity wellbeing support app designed for busy new parents struggling to keep up or transitioning back to work, with built in postpartum depression (PPD) support for new mother,” Parklins says.
The app, Parklins adds, allows parents to log feeds, naps, and diaper changes with a single tap, view a timeline of baby activities, and access analytics for better tracking. It also features an intuitive interface designed to reduce stress and soft sound notifications that won’t wake sleeping babies.
Babymomsi is tapping into a growing demand for digital parenting solutions. A report by Market.us estimates the parenting app market will grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 12.2%, driven by the increasing number of millennial and Gen Z parents seeking tech-based childcare solutions. Within this space, baby tracking apps already account for 28.6% of the market.
“These apps provide convenience and accessibility by offering a wealth of parenting resources and tools on smartphones and other mobile devices,” Market.us says. “Parents can access advice, track their child’s development, connect with other parents, and find educational content and expert guidance, all in one place.”
In addition to baby activity tracking, Babymomsi is developing new features, including AI-powered voice tracking, Apple Watch integration, and smart reminders. It also prioritises maternal wellbeing, integrating PPD support, a condition that affects approximately 15% of mothers, according to Postpartum Support International.
Babymomsi is available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. The company is inviting investors in FemTech, baby and health tech, and future-of-work solutions to support its next growth phase.
“Excited to also share that we’re raising our pre-seed round! If you’re an investor / VC interested in FemTech, Baby & Health Tech or the future of work for new parents, let’s connect,” the post reads.
