As technological advancements and market dynamics continue to evolve, staying ahead of the curve for a technology business is no easy feat.

For Senzo Mbhele, Managing Director at Tarsus On Demand, the vision for the future is rooted in the belief that a successful business should be built ‘for the people, by the people’.

What does the future hold for players in the cloud space? What is going to flip the switch between merely surviving and ultimately thriving? The key, Mbhele believes, lies in the hands of people who have been equipped to adapt and to face change with a sense of anticipation, rather than a fear of the unknown. Change, he believes, is not a technology concern. Rather, it is an area of great potential for people. According to Mbhele, the Tarsus On Demand approach to building and growing a thriving business revolves around three key strategies.

  1. Automation and efficiency

Senzo Mbhele, Managing Director at Tarsus On Demand, says that As technological advancements and market dynamics continue to evolve, staying ahead of the curve for a technology business is no easy feat.

First and foremost, optimising the core is about ensuring that everything that should work does so efficiently. While automation takes centre stage in this endeavour, it should not be automation for the sake of it. “We’re taking a strategic effort to improve internal and external processes, procedures, and engagements. The goal is to make everything run smoother, to ensure that our people are adequately equipped with the skills, technology and most importantly, the time, to deliver service that delights both customers and partners.” Mbhele explains.

  1. Growth and innovation

The second pillar focuses on expansion and growth. Maintaining the status quo is not an option for any business, let alone Tarsus On Demand. “We are committed to creating a business that is focused on continuously pushing boundaries, exploring new offerings, services, and solutions to bring to the market. This progressive mindset is essential to ensure we remain relevant and competitive, today and tomorrow,” he continues.

  1. Nurturing the people: Attracting and retaining talent

A company is only as strong as the people who walk its corridors. Retaining and attracting the right talent is critical. It’s about creating a workplace where individuals not only want to work but thrive. Reducing churn and ensuring the right cultural fit are key components of this pillar.

“We will need to put in the work to ensure that our company culture reflects our values, including accountability, integrity, and collaboration, but by building a unified culture founded in a common purpose, the Tarsus On Demand brand can become a beacon of positivity in a challenging market.”

A vision for the future: A business built around people

Mbhele says that the vision for Tarsus On Demand is clear: “Our word is our bond, what we say we’re going to do, we get it done. We’re accountable, we value integrity, and we bring unique solutions to the market. We’re pioneers of change, not just in technology but in the way we make a lasting difference for our customers, partners, and the communities in which we operate. Tarsus On Demand is more than a cloud integrator; we are conduits for change. Success in the digital age demands not just technological prowess but a commitment to nurturing talent, embracing change, and building a positive brand that leaves a lasting impact on the world.”
