Just in case you are in doubt, Omobola Johnson, Minister of Communication Technology has not outsourced the management of her Twitter handle on the social networking website.
“For those who have asked- I manage my twitter handle myself”, the CommTech Minister clarified in a recent tweet to make a distinction between her Twitter ID, @OmobolaJohnson and that of the official Ministry of Communication Technology’s @ngrcommtech on the microblogging service.
“Institutional handle is @ngrcommtech. Follow this for news abt the Ministry”, she adds in a message sent February 17, this year to her followers numbering 1,392 as at press time today.
According to her Twitter records, the Minister, who was first seen on the network on January 15, this year describes herself as “Passionate about ICTs potential for enabling inclusive development.”
“Happy new year to you all. Looking forward to engaging with you this year especially as regarding all things concerning ICT in Nigeria”, was her debut tweet and she has so far sent 29 as at press time.
