The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has called for the support of the United State of America Postal Inspection Service in the area of capacity building especially on the usage of the database and other skills to further enhance the tackling of cyber-crime cases.
Ibrahim Magu, acting chairman, EFCC, made the call recently when receiving a three-man delegation from the US organisation at the Commission’s headquarters in Abuja.
The United State of America Postal Inspection Service expressed its readiness to support the EFCC in its efforts geared towards tackling corruption in Nigeria.
Daniel Cortez, Inspector in charge, Headquarters Operation of the United State of America Postal Inspection Service, gave the assurance and says the organisation would assist the EFCC through seamless information exchange and partnership.
Magu, expressed his gratitude and the willingness of the Commission to partner with the US postal Inspection Service.
