Dana Air has said its new social application on Facebook for online reservation will not only make booking easy and convenient for flyers but also allows customers to book their flights in a secured online environment.
Following a lift from its ban by the Nigeria’s Civil Aviation Authority to resume flights in 2014 after a fatal air crash in 2012, the Air service provider hopes that its new innovative will allow its passenger to navigate, without any obstacle.
The company believe that the mobile platform is “a one-stop shop that will allow more customers easy access to tickets, great value fares either for business or leisure trips.”
According to Dana, “with the introduction of the mobile app, Dana Air has further aligned its vision with technology in providing innovative and pioneering solutions centered on improving passenger experience.”
FlyDana Mobile App is powered by FlyNow Mobile and developed by Fountedge Technologies; a UK-based aviation mobile technology solution provider, according to Dana.
On visiting www.facebook.com/DanaAir/app_196809730483523, users would be presented with two options ‘Book Flight’ and ‘My Flights’. Clicking on ‘book flights’ can take users to a page for specifying their journey details, such as choice of routes, dates of journey among others.
Based on these information provided by the user, the application would search for suitable flights. Once the search results are presented, customers can choose a flight, select a package that meets their preference and go ahead to the payment section, the company said.
