Delta State Government has said its newly-introduced e-bursary registration system will help combat fraud in the state’s bursary and scholarship schemes that benefits indigenous students in institutions of higher learning.
Peter Amromanoh, Executive Secretary of Delta State Bursary and Scholarship Board said the manual registration used before now was characterised by fraud activities.
According to him, the new platform will serve as an interactive session between the student and the Board.
He also said that the students must also have their admission regularised by the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB).
