The Delta State Government has mandated that all applicants must go through a Computer-Based Theory Test as part of the new licensing process.
This was introduced alongside other requirement for obtaining or renewing a driver’s licence, according to the the Delta State Ministry of Transport, which announced the new rules.
This new requirement applies to both first-time applicants and those renewing expired licenses. “All applicants, whether applying for a new driver’s license or renewing an expired one, are now mandated to undergo a Computer-Based Theory Test as part of the licensing process,” the Ministry states.
The Ministry has also clarified that applicants must complete all required documentation, and meeting other stipulated conditions alongside passing the CBT Test before their licences can be issued or renewed. “Failure to comply with these requirements,” the Ministry says, may result in delays or denial of licensing services.”
