Delta State reads riot act to illegal computer schools

The Delta State Government has warned operators of illegal private computer and vocational institutions to steer clear of the state.

The state government also urged parents not to enrol their wards in unaccredited private vocational/computer institutions illegally operating in the state as they risk being duped.

According to statement issued by Paul Osahor, Director of Information, Delta State, the government has advised the public, parents/guardians and other stakeholders to contact the Ministry of Higher Education to get the current list of Approved Private Vocational Institutions.

According to the government statement, the approved private vocational/computer institutions in Delta State are Millicent School of Catering, Asaba, Prudent Vocational Institute, Asaba, S. Dreamz School of Catering, Asaba, Noble Computer Institute, Asaba, Ensy Computer School, Agbor, Computer Garden Concepts, Agbor and Anslem Computer School, Ogwashi-Uku.

Others are Cubean I.C.T. Academy, Issele-Uku, Global Maritime Academy, Ogoni-Olomu, Rolof Computer Limited, Warri, Marlydia Institute of Vocational and Management Studies, Udu, Akor-Bek Institute of Vocational and Management Studies, Udu, Conarina School of Maritime & Transport Technology, Abraka and JD Computer Technology, Ogwashi-Uku.
