The Federal Ministry of Communications, Innovation, and Digital Economy (FMCIDE) has announced that the second monthly edition of its Devs in Government event has been scheduled for April 16.
The April edition of Devs in Government focuses on the theme: Tech Leadership in Government, Empowering Civil Servants for Innovation, FMCIDE said.
Devs in Government, a monthly initiative of the FMCIDE, launched on the 26th February, 2024, specifically to empower technologists within the Civil Service and drive transformative change in government through innovation and technology, according to the Ministry.
This edition, the Ministry said, will also be identifying and showcasing some of the in-house solutions that are driving change in the Nigerian Civil Service.
Therefore, an invitation to technologists in the Civil Service who have developed tech solutions currently in use within their organisation have been sent out for the sharing of their stories as well as getting a chance of being showcased at the Devs in Government event, the Ministry added.
FMCIDE has provided this link for the submission of entry, while the deadline for submission is Friday, April 12, 2024.
