DSTV expands service with new live channels

MultiChoice says its digital satellite TV service, DStv, has expanded its “DStv Now” offerings with the addition of over 20 new live channels.

The new channels bringing the total number of its live channels to over 40 to keep the whole family entertained, Multichoice says.

The new channels which will bolster the DSTV catalogue that include: Channels (Nigeria only), AIT (Nigeria only), Citizen (Kenya only), KTN (Kenya only), Nick Junior, Zee World, BBC Brit, BBC Lifestyle, BBC World News, Lifetime, EVA, ITV Choice, CBeebies, TRACE Urban, Nicktoons, Africa Magic Urban, Africa Magic Family, Africa Magic Showcase, Jim Jam, AfricaMagic World,  Telemundo, Studio Universal, Universal and more.

“DStv Now”, which delivers access to live channels with sports, movies, series, and also DStv Catch Up and DStv Kids can be accessed online or through an app for tablets and smartphones Multichoice says adding that the “DStv Now” app which is available to all DSTV customers can be downloaded for free on smartphones or tablets for iOS or Android.

Live channels and DStv Catch Up content are only available to DStv Premium customers with an active PVR and that data costs will apply when streaming content, Multichoice says.
