As part of preparations for the arrival of the e-ID cards in the various states of Nigeria, the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) has kicked off an intensive training for card activation officers for the 36 states and the FCT.

The national identity manager also thanked Nigerians for supporting the initiative. “We commend Nigerians for their massive support and understanding as we progress carefully on the mission to attain a successful National Identity Management System.”

The Federal Government officially launched the e-ID card in Abuja recently, with assurances that the cards are already being printed.
