Mr. Emeka Oparah, former Airtel Nigeria Director, today resumed as Airtel Africa Plc’s Vice President Corporate Communications & CSR following his promotion at the mobile telephony group owned by India’s Bharti Airtel.
Oparah, who was at different times Director and Vice President, Corporate Communications & CSR at the Nigerian mobile business unit of Airtel, was managing various teams responsible for Public Relations, Internal Communications and Corporate Social Responsibility for the last 19 and half years at Airtel Nigeria, according to his bio.
The new Vice President Corporate Communications & CSR, Airtel Africa Plc, who resumed in his new role today at the mobile phone group’s office in Dubai, UAE, according to his Linked post seen today by Technology Times.

For the celebrated Nigerian PR professional and public speaker, his new role at Airtel Africa will see him take charge of Reputation and Perception management including Public Relations, Internal Communications, Media Relations, Corporate Events and Sponsorships, Social Media Management, and Crisis Management.

Emeka Oparah has over 25 years of consistent communications practice spanning journalism, advertising, public relations, events, sponsorships, and corporate social responsibility.
