Enugu to install CCTV to secure Govt offices

The Enugu State Government said it has approved N300 million for the supply and installation of CCTV and access control systems in the offices of the Enugu State new Secretariat buildings, as part of efforts to curb insecurity in public facilities.

Chuks Ugwoke, the State Commissioner for Information disclosed this at a press briefing at the close of the State’s council meeting presided over by Sullivan Chime, the State Governor, at the Government House, Enugu.

The Commissioner disclosed that the scope of work included the installation of 579 cameras, 44 Network Video Control Systems that are to be installed on 264 doors with 22 controllers.
