Eurochannel, the European content TV channel has announced that it has closed deals with partners in Nigeria under its ongoing expansion spanning several countries across the globe.
Starting from February 2014, Eurochannel will be available on the operator Montage TV in Nigeria, Ghana, Sierra Leone and Liberia.
Eurochannel also announced that it signed an agreement with the operator UndatedTV to increase its coverage in Nigeria according to a statement by the media company.
Eurochannel which was founded a decade ago was primarily aimed to promote the European culture and lifestyle throughout movies and series, programmes dedicated to fashion events also plans to launch African channels to its bouquet.
“We also strengthened our position in many countries thanks to agreements with new operators. Beside Europe, Africa is now becoming an important market for Eurochannel, and we are proud to promote European production there”, Gustavo Vainstein, CEO of Eurochannel says.
According to him, “these last months have been a time of great achievements for Eurochannel, with many new additions in Europe. We are very proud to be now available in Serbia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Iceland, Estonia and Albania. We are excited to be soon available in more European countries.
