Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu, Minister of Science and Technology, has said that his ministry will support digital entrepreneurs to promote growth of Nigerian economy.
Minister of Science and Technology says that the digital entrepreneurs will be provided facilities to enable them migrate from small to medium and eventually become a multinational companies that will make the economy resilient and strong.
Onu dropped this hint when the executive of National Association of Technology Entrepreneurs (NAITE) paid him a courtesy visit in his Abuja office to seek for assistance on the sourcing of raw materials at affordable rate and funding to enable them attain enhanced status in their business.

While noting that ideas are being converted to products and services, the Minister assured NAITE of looking at all the issues of concern to them in view of the progress recorded by one of them who has been listed on the Nigerian Stock Exchange.
However, he called for more synergy between the entrepreneurs and agencies under the ministry that have advanced technology especially in areas of reserved engineering.
Reiterating the need for capacity building for its members, Duro Kuteji, Chairman of NATIE called on the Minister to support the proposal that all agencies of the government, patronise Made in Nigeria products and also accommodate them in the proposed Technology Park when fully established.
It is on record that NAITE members have more than one thousand five hundred (1500) products and their collaboration with Nigerian Export Promotion Council (NEPC) has exposed many of the products to the International markets through fairs and exhibition especially in Benin Republic, Sudan, Togo and other ECOWAS markets, Kuteji told the Minister.
