Over the next four years, you will not only gain knowledge but develop the skills needed to innovate, create, and drive digital transformation,” Prof. Afoakwa says. “You will be empowered to start your own businesses and become technopreneurs, shaping the digital economy in Ghana and beyond.”
TechPreneur combines technology and entrepreneurship, highlighting individuals passionate about technology’s capability to solve problems, improve processes, and create new business opportunities.
According to the Vice-Chancellor, GCTU is committed to providing engaging and relevant ICT programmes that prepare graduates to meet the changing demands of industries and organizations. He highlighted that, in addition to being in high demand for their expertise, GCTU graduates will also possess the entrepreneurial skills necessary to start their own businesses, effectively becoming ‘technopreneurs.
‘“We are committed to fostering scholarship through transformative student experiences, problem-based learning, and experiential learning approaches, all enabled through ICT-driven, cutting-edge technology,” Prof. Afoakwa says.
