Glo to deliver mobile video service with new app

Globacom, the Second National Operator (SNO) and owners of Glo Mobile, the number three mobile phone company has deepened its value added offerings with a new app that allows its customers to share video.

The telecoms company said that the new mobile app called ‘Total Entertainment’ will provide a rich diversity of video content spanning all areas of entertainment like music videos, Hollywood and Nollywood trailers.

Also coming as part of the video bouquet will be full-length feature films, red-carpet events, stand-up comedy, sports and lifestyle content, television serials, and fashion and celebrity news on mobile phones of Glo customers, the company said.

“The Mobile App can be downloaded and enjoyable with non-stop entertainment on your mobile phone any day, anytime and anywhere. And it’s available for iPhone, Android, Windows Phone and Blackberry devices”, the company said in a statement.

To subscribe to this service, simply text “sub” to 9999 and follow the instructions to download the app.

Nagasai Viswanath, Head of Value Added Services said that the library is updated daily and the service costs N100 monthly or N25 weekly.
