Google has introduced its latest Hangouts app that allows you to make voice calls on the service.
Google Hangouts already makes it easy to send a quick message, or start a group video chat but with the Hangouts v2.3, which will be rolling out over the next few days, you will be able to make voice calls from Hangouts on Android, iOS and the web.
According to the search engine giant, “It’s free to call other Hangouts users, it’s free to call numbers in the U.S. and Canada, and the international rates are really low.”
According to the search giant, to get started on Android, download the new version of Hangouts then install the accompanying dialer to turn on voice calls.
On iOS and the web, voice calls will be available the next time you open the app, according to Google.
