Dr. Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami, the new Director General and CEO of the National Information Technology Development Agency, (NITDA) has promised to consolidate on the achievements of his predecessors.

While expressing his gratitude towards the reception he received from the outgoing acting DG, Vincent Olatunji, and other members of staff, Dr. Pantami said what is important to him is to see how Nigeria can explore the potentials of ICT for National development.
“What is important to us is Nigeria, and I am here to work together with you as a team to achieve the vision of the agency,” the new DG says.
Earlier in his welcome address, the outgoing Ag. DG stated that NITDA is one big family and assured him of the cooperation of all staff, stating that the Agency might be small in structure but broad in mandate.
Dr. Olatunji said Dr. Pantami’s coming cannot be at a better time than now, when the nation needs to leverage on ICT as alternative to oil to diversify the economy.
