Showmax has partnered with Infinix Nigeria to offer customers of the smartphone company exclusive discounts on the leading streaming service in Africa.

This partnership follows the recent relaunch of Showmax, which now boasts a new app supported by Peacock technology, an increased number of locally produced originals, a wider international selection, and a mobile-only plan that offers access to Premier League games.

In partnership with Showmax, Infinix Nigeria is offering its customers a whopping 35% discount. Customers will be able to purchase a 3-month Showmax General Entertainment and Premier League subscription plan for only ₦8500 instead of ₦12,300 when they buy any Infinix smartphone.

Arinola Shobande, Head of Marketing at Showmax Nigeria, said that “working with Infinix allows us to bring the best of entertainment and sport to more customers in Nigeria.

With our English Premier League mobile-only plan, customers can enjoy all 380 live games from their Infinix mobile phones at a very affordable price including more local and international entertainment.”

Oluwayemisi Ode, Integrated Marketing Communications & PR Manager at Infinix Nigeria, said that Showmax is partnering with Infinix after their re-launch which features a new app and the first-ever mobile-only Premier League plan.

By coupling Showmax’s new app and diverse content offerings with Infinix’s cutting-edge smartphones, Infix said it hopes to enhance customers’ digital lifestyle. “The exclusive discount offer will give Infinix customers a richer and more enjoyable digital entertainment experience at unbeatable value,” Ode said.

Moreover, customers who purchase the newly launched Infinix Note 40 Series will receive a complimentary 3-month Showmax General Entertainment and Premier League subscription plan.

The offer comes with 1GB of free data and is specifically designed to provide Infinix users with access to a wider range of homegrown original content and more in a mobile-only plan – all at an affordable price, according to the companies.
