Infinix says that traditional NFC technology, often used for payments and transit access, can be unreliable in crowded or fast-paced environments where precise alignment is necessary. Infinix’s 720° SphereTech NFC addresses these limitations by eliminating the need for exact alignment, the phone makers claims.

According to Li Cao, Senior Manager, NFC Department of Infinix “Our commitment to innovation and understanding user needs has driven us to create a solution that not only enhances functionality but also provides unparalleled security and convenience for our users. The 720° SphereTech NFC significantly improves the mobile experience in NFC applications, offering seamless, reliable, and secure interactions from multiple angles.”

The technology, Li Cao says, includes advancements in spatial layout, signal compatibility, and material configuration. It offers a 200% increase in the card reading area and doubles the signal range. SphereTech also supports reading and tapping cards from the front, top, and back of the mobile device, improving signal range by 100% compared to existing 360° NFC technology.
