Interswitch Group, a leading digital payments company in Africa, has announced its platinum sponsorship of the InnovateAI 2025 conference holding next month in Lagos for the second year.

The event, organised by AI-in-Nigeria, a company focused on localising and scaling AI across Nigeria, aims to spark insightful conversations, build new partnerships, and drive AI-powered solutions that will redefine the future of payments, commerce, and beyond

InnovateAI 2025, which is themed Scaling AI Adoption in Nigeria: Catalysing Cross-Sectoral Innovation and Fostering Inclusive Growth,” will take place on February 21, 2025, at the Landmark Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos. Over 3,000 participants, including AI enthusiasts, industry leaders, and innovators from Nigeria and the world, are expected to attend.

Oluwadamilare Akinwunmi, Chief Data and AI Officer at Interswitch, emphasises that the company is committed towards the advancement of AI and creating seamless transactions with its use.

“Interswitch is excited to sponsor the InnovateAI Conference for the second consecutive year. We recognise the transformative power of artificial intelligence in shaping Nigeria’s industries and the need for platforms like this to advance its adoption,” Akinwunmi says.

The event will feature keynote speeches and panel discussion on exploring AI in sectors like financial services, public services, fintech, and oil and gas. They will also explore the role of data, talent, and technology in building a sustainable AI ecosystem alongside AI products demonstrations.
