The Institute of Software Practitioners of Nigeria (ISPON) says it will gather top Nigerian ICT practitioners to chart the way forward on indigenous software industry, at its annual dinner billed to hold April 6 in Lagos.

The dinner is a flagship event of ISPON that brings captains of the ICT industry, particularly the software sector, together in a relaxed environment to network and share knowledge on the latest trends and developments in the Nigerian and global information society.

ISPON also says that that Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami, Director-General of National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) and his counterpart at the National Office for Technology Acquisition and Promotion, (NOTAP) will be present at the event to deliver  strategic lecture on their activities to corporate Nigeria and software industry stakeholders.

The lectures would include the advancement of the indigenous software industry as well as the strides taken towards the actualisation of the Executive Order Nos 003 and 005.
