Jumia Tech Week to offer deals on gadgets in Nigeria

Jumia Nigeria is offering customers great deals on the latest tech gadgets during its annual ‘Tech Week’ sale, which will run from March 18-31, 2024.

The e-commerce firm announced on Tuesday that this year’s theme, “Upgrade Your Experience,” is aimed at helping customers embrace the transformative power of technology.

Jumia Nigeria said it is offering discounts on a wide range of tech products including smartphones, laptops, home appliances and entertainment systems.

Nigerians are increasingly adopting smartphones, indicating a growing interest in technology. Jumia Tech Week responds to this trend by providing a platform for Nigerians to easily access the latest tech essentials, the e-commerce company said.

According to Sunil Natraj, Jumia Nigeria CEO, “we’re thrilled to present Jumia Tech Week 2024, a platform to bridge the digital gap and empower Nigerians with the latest technology. With the continuous rise in smartphone adoption and internet penetration in the country, the demand for accessible tech is stronger than ever. The e-commerce company noted that it was partnering with top brands like Infinix, Tecno, Xiaomi, Oraimo, Binatone, Haier Thermocool, Sun King and Itel, Jumia ensures a diverse selection of high-quality products across different categories.

According to reports, at the start of 2024, Nigeria had over 103 million internet users, with internet penetration exceeding 45%.

Nigerians are increasingly adopting smartphones, indicating a growing interest in technology. Jumia Tech Week responds to this trend by providing a platform for Nigerians to easily access the latest tech essentials, the e-commerce company said.

Jumia Tech Week is presenting exclusive flash sales with additional discounts on selected products. The campaign also includes giveaways and contests. The company promises a seamless online shopping experience with secure payment options, including pay-on-delivery. These offers go beyond just amazing deals.
