The Lagos State Government has launched the e-registration for the 2025 Entrance Examination for Primary Six pupils seeking admission into Model Colleges and Upgraded Junior Secondary Schools in the state.

Mr. Adebayo Orunsolu, Director of the Lagos State Examinations Board, who confirmed the new registration process says that the “e-registration will commence on Thursday, 6th February and ends on Friday, 16th May, 2025.”

Under the plan, the screening will be conducted exclusively through a Computer-Based Test (CBT) between Wednesday, 28th May and Friday, 30th May 2025, at designated CBT centers across the state.

Orunsolu, who explains that “the screening will be conducted through Computer Based Test (CBT) only,” also confirms that a ₦10,000 application fee applies to both public and private school pupils.

Accordingly, “qualified pupils from public and private schools are to pay a sum of ₦10,000 (Ten Thousand Naira Only) for the Application.”

While urging urging parents and guardians to use the platform for registration, Orunsolu adds that “the registration of prospective applicants will be done via Examinations Board Portal pay.examboard.com.ng/model/payment.”
