The Lagos Business School (LBS) has appointed Olu Akanmu as the new Academic Director of the Tech-Leap Initiative (LBS-TLI), a unit of the institution focused on providing technology advisory services to businesses and organisations.
Akanmu, a seasoned professional with a diverse background in banking, telecommunications, and fintech, is expected to drive the initiative forward and foster innovation in the technology and business landscape, according to LBS.

Akanmu succeeds Dr. Emeka Azinge, who played an important role in establishing the Tech-Leap Initiative and steering its growth. In a statement, the school expressed its gratitude for Azinge’s contributions to technology and business education.
As the new Academic Director, Akanmu will lead the strategic direction of LBS-TLI, oversee programs, foster collaborations, support research, and manage the team, according to LBS.

The Tech-Leap Initiative, which maintains an active presence online, particularly on LinkedIn, is focused on addressing critical challenges in the tech industry through a variety of initiatives by providing expert guidance to businesses and organisations.
