Mainone plans to launch to its $40m data centre by Q3 2014 to meet the rapidly growing demand for advanced data and managed services across Africa, Funke Opeke, CEO of the undersea cable company has said.
Sitting on 3500 square meters and with 600 rack data centre, MainOne will make history as the data centre will be the largest capapcity in West Africa.
She said that the facility will guarantees open access to all major local and global networks available in Nigeria and on-demand collocation facilities required to deploy and grow IT operations for clients’ businesses.
