It is no longer news that Windows 10 Operating System from Microsoft will become available starting from July 29, 2015.
Microsoft is making the software available free of charge to users of qualified Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 devices, who upgrade within one year of availability of Windows 10.
According to the tech giant, the upgrade offer is for a full version of Windows 10, not a trial and it requires 3GB download required. Some hardware/software requirements apply and feature availability may vary by device and market.
The availability of Windows 10 upgrade for Windows Phone 8.1 devices may vary by Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), mobile operator or carrier.
Devices must be connected to the Internet and have Windows Update enabled, says Microsoft.
You do not need to buy a new PC to use Windows 10. All you need to do is to upgrade your Windows 7 and Windows 8 devices to the new OS once it is available.
