Microsoft Nigeria launches Nokia Lumia 930, its ‘beautifully-crafted machine’

Mr Nick Imuda, the Managing Director of Microsoft Mobile Devices and Service Nigeria has officially launched the company’s flagship smartphone, the Nokia Lumia 930 describing it as a ‘’beautiful, well-crafted machine’’ made for work and play.

According to Nick, the new entrant mobile device into the Nigeria market promises to merge pleasure with business for today’s mobile technology consumers.

The Nokia Lumia 930 was launched into Nigeria in partnership with Mansard, a leading insurance company and MTN Nigeria, the biggest mobile phone company.

According to the mobile phone maker, buyers of the Nokia Lumia 930 will enjoy double the data plan they subscribe for and also a more reliable insurance warranty on the device.

‘’The Nokia Lumia 930 is integrated to what you do everyday”, Imudia told attendees at the official launch of the Nokia Lumia 930 by Microsoft at the Four Point Hotel by Sheraton in Lagos.

‘’The Nokia Lumia 930 looks to be just that phone, with a next-generation screen, a much-improved processor and a new version of the operating system to give users more customisation than ever before’’, according to Olumide Balogun of Microsoft.

”At Nokia, our focus is to bring the very best of technology to our consumers which aid, excite and benefit their work and social lives,” he added.

In addition to the brilliant applications on the devices, he said that Nokia launched the product exclusively on the MTN Nigeria network cited as the widest network in the country “to enable consumers to have a maximum experience of the various features on the devices.”

With the hands on experience of the Nokia Lumia 930 by Technology Times at the device launch ,the first thing that you’ll notice about the Windows Phone 8.1 powered device is that it features a much improved screen compared to its predecessors.

The ClearBlack display makes for clearer display and is capable of displaying deep blacks even under a scorching sun.

The combination of a metallic rim and polycarbonate back makes the device look elegant and classy

It feels solid when gripped while the weight and thickness is complements the sleek smartphone.

The mobile device is equipped with a 20MP rear camera, wireless charger and several other lovely apps that make you perform  your daily activities effortlessly on the go.
