The much-awaited Windows 10 operating system has been launched today by Microsoft.
According to the tech giant, qualified Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 devices, including devices you already own can be upgraded for free to a full version of Windows 10, and not a trial.
Under the plan, users will need 3GB download for the upgrade.
To take advantage of this free offer, you must upgrade to Windows 10 within one year of availability, which commences on July 29.
The availability of Windows 10 upgrade for Windows Phone 8.1 devices may vary by Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), mobile operator or carrier, according to Microsoft, which says that devices must be connected to the Internet and have Windows Update enabled.
