Uba Maigari Ahmadu, Nigeria’s Minister of State for Regional Development, has praised the technology-driven operations of EIB Group following a tour of the organisation’s high-security technology facility in Abuja.
During the visit to the multi-billion-naira complex located in the Idu Industrial Area in Abuja, the minister, who highlighted the role of locally developed innovations in supporting national development, inspected the company’s advanced technological infrastructure and operational units spanning several sectors, according to a statement by the ministry.
The facility hosts a range of innovations across security technology, healthcare, media platforms and digital solutions.

Ahmadu described the organisation as a significant contributor to Nigeria’s growing technology ecosystem and youth empowerment initiatives, noting that the scale of infrastructure and innovation on display illustrates the potential of indigenous technological solutions.
“The organisation stands at the intersection of innovation and impact, delivering solutions across the security, healthcare, media and technology sectors,” the minister said.
He added that the infrastructure and technical operations he observed during the visit underscored the capacity of Nigerian innovators to develop sophisticated technology systems locally.
“I was deeply impressed by the remarkable work being carried out at the facility,” Ahmadu said, adding that both the scale of infrastructural development and the precision of the operations demonstrate Nigerian ingenuity.
The visit also featured live demonstrations of several of the facility’s technologies, giving the minister firsthand insight into how the systems function and support operational activities across different sectors.
