Mojoy Computers, a Nigerian technology (IT) trading company Tuesday launched its new shopping plaza estimated at N200 million in Computer Village in Ikeja, Lagos.
Mrs Adenike Shittu, Managing Director of Mojoy, a subsidiary of Mojoy Investment Company Limited told Technology Times at the launch of the new plaza that the multi-million Naira property “is a miraculous gift to her by God” considering what she cites as the high cost of purchasing the plaza.
“Sincerely, when I started out, I wasn’t serious at all and when they came out with the price, it was so huge. I wasn’t serious at first because I looked at my pocket, and I saw that this, I cannot afford it except if it is God but the Lord kept if for me until I was able to gather the money and we were able to pay”, she said joyfully.

She described the design of the new plaza as unique, explaining that the positioning pattern of the shops in the plaza is quite different from that of other plazas in the technology market.
“This plaza is very unique in the sense that the design is different and the foundation is on Christ. The design is different because the shops are facing outside”, she said.
According to her, “in other plazas, what they do is build it in such a way that all the shops face inside and then there is darkness but in this one, we have been innovative, everything is facing outside. so, there is light,”
The new plaza which is a storey building, contains 60 shops and conveniences.
According toMrs Shittu, the cost of renting the shops per annum varies depending on the size and the part of the building where the shop is located. The shops cost N1.5 million, N1 million, N500, 000 and N400, 000 each respectively.
