Mozilla has announced that its Internet browser, Firefox for Windows, Mac and Linux can now let users to choose to receive push notifications from favourite websites, if permission is given.
According to Mozilla, the push notifications feature is similar to Web notifications, “except now you can receive notifications for websites even when they’re not loaded in a tab. This is super useful for websites like email, weather, social networks and shopping, which you might check frequently for updates.”
Users can manage notifications in the Control Centre by clicking the green lock icon on the left side of the address bar.
