MTN Group has announced its partnership with Business Connexion (BCX) to deliver Local Area Network (LAN) services and in-country communications support to its enterprise customers.
“Our partnership with BCX will allow MTN to offer enterprise customers a full end-to-end managed network service which will be a key differentiator for MTN on the continent,” sElia Tsouros, Acting Executive for the MTN Group Enterprise Business Unit says.
According to the mobile operator, the partnership will involve assuming responsibility for the day-to-day operational management of customer premises equipment. The offer guarantees that customers will receive high service levels and quick resolution to service-related problems.
“Customers can feel at ease that once they are on the MTN network, both local and international communications will be available, and at the quality they deserve. This will enable easier international communication for customers utilising our managed services. It will further relieve customers from concerns about putting in their own network or bearing the operational costs related to such a network. Our customers will enjoy the benefits of a completely outsourced network,” adds Tsouros.
John Jenkins, Business Connexion Group Executive Director says the partnership was formed to provide customers with the world class service they deserve. “Enterprise IT services and leading Wide Area Network capabilities are seldom, if ever, core strengths of the same service provider. Therefore, a partnership between the best-in-class ICT services company in Africa and the largest network operator on the continent, namely BCX and MTN, serves our customers with the best of both,” says Jenkins.
