MTN Nigeria says normal telecoms services have been restored in parts of Lagos and Ogun states where there was disruption in the operations of the mobile phone company.
The network failure resulted in MTN customers in Badagry, Apapa, Ojota, Agege, Ipaja, Ota, Ifo and Akute, finding it difficult to make calls, send SMS and enjoy other services, according to the telco.
The network failure that affected delivery of telecoms services to MTN Nigeria customers in the affected areas was attributed to damage in fibre cables due to ongoing road reconstruction in Apapa.
