Lagos. January 27, 2013: MTN Nigeria, The leading mobile phone operator, has entered into a partnership with number one job portal in Nigeria, Jobberman, to enable job seekers gain instant access to job information via their mobile phones.
The partnership allows subscribers of MTN get the latest jobs in Nigeria on their mobile phones.
The Jobberman website records the highest number of jobs in Nigeria and known for its innovative ways of bridging unemployment gaps in the country has over time brought jobs closer to job seekers. Its service provides information about jobs in Nigeria which was hitherto difficult to access comes easy for all job seekers.
Opeyemi Awoyemi, MTN, Senior Vice-President in charge of Products, who was excited about the partnership, says that people can now get the latest and the hottest job openings in various sectors and much more with Jobberman alerts from their MTN phones.
Awoyemi notes that subscribers who want to use this service and get job alerts via SMS on their mobile phones once latest jobs are posted on Jobberman would need to dial *700# from their MTN line, select ‘Job Alerts’ from the MTN Play menu and click the “send” button. The service costs N50 per week.
Jobberman was established in Nigeria and has its headquarters in Lekki.
