MTN Nigeria has appointed Njideka Jack as General Manager, Enterprise Marketing, entrusting her with the responsibility of leading the telecoms giant’s engagement with business customers across sectors.

In her new role, Jack will oversee strategy and operations for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), large corporates, and the public sector, with a focus on driving technology-led transformation and advancing digital adoption across industries, the telecoms company says in a statement seen by Technology Times.

“We’re delighted to welcome Njideka Jack M.CIoD, C.Eng, MIET, MNSE, MBA, PMP as the new General Manager, Enterprise Marketing at MTN Business,” the company says in the statement. “With over 25 years of experience spanning Orange UK, T-Mobile International, and MTN Nigeria, Njideka brings a wealth of techno-commercial expertise and a proven ability to translate strategy into measurable business outcomes.”

Jack brings more than two decades of experience in telecommunications and enterprise technology, with a career spanning Orange UK, T-Mobile International, and MTN Nigeria. Her work has covered technology design, business strategy, and enterprise solutions, with a focus on aligning operational processes with corporate objectives.

Njideka Jack: Decades of industry experience 

Jack brings more than two decades of experience in telecommunications and enterprise technology, with a career spanning Orange UK, T-Mobile International, and MTN Nigeria. Her work has covered technology design, business strategy, and enterprise solutions, with a focus on aligning operational processes with corporate objectives.

“I have demonstrated strategic leadership and functioned as a trusted advisor to management boards and diverse business units in developing innovation capability while aligning product design and optimisation processes with business objectives, market strategy, and profitability goals,” Jack says.

Throughout her career, she has supported projects that expand market reach, enhance operational efficiency, and empower enterprise clients to leverage digital technologies for business growth.

Driving digital transformation 

Jack’s professional interests cut across artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), Internet of Things (IoT), robotics, and blockchain. Her work has centred on integrating these technologies into business models and operational workflows to support digital transformation and enterprise agility.

“I have passion for digitising processes, driving future innovation ideas, leading digital transformation and business agility; championing new and emerging technologies such as AI/ML, Robotics, IoT, Blockchain; and building startups to scale for growth and profitability,” she explains.

Beyond her operational roles, Jack has also served in board-level capacities, where she has helped to develop governance frameworks and institutionalise corporate innovation to strengthen alignment with business strategy.

“I take pride in actively functioning in board-level capacity, driving and institutionalising corporate innovation, establishing governance frameworks to ensure alignment with business strategy, while contributing to the next wave of business growth and global competitiveness,” she adds.

Jack’s appointment strengthens MTN Nigeria’s enterprise business unit, which focuses on delivering connectivity, cloud, and digital services to corporate and public-sector clients. The division plays a key role in supporting Nigerian organisations’ transition to digitally-enabled operations.

Her leadership comes at a time when MTN is intensifying efforts to grow its enterprise portfolio, targeting digital transformation as a critical growth pillar for the telecoms group’s operations in Africa’s largest economy.

Professional qualifications 

Jack holds multiple professional credentials, including Chartered Engineer (C.Eng), Member of the Institute of Engineering and Technology (MIET), Member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (MNSE), and Member of the Chartered Institute of Directors (M.CIoD). She also holds an MBA and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
