Michael Ikpoki, immediate past CEO of MTN Nigeria, who resigned following the unprecedented N1.04 trillion fined the mobile phone company, has bounced back.
The former MTN Nigeria CEO has launched a website, michaelikpoki.com, profiling his management and board room footprints in Nigeria and beyond, in what indicates his rebound after the unfortunate incident at the nation’s largest mobile phone company.
Ikpoki, the former CEO at MTN Nigeria and Akinwale Goodluck, Head of Regulatory and Corporate Affairs at the mobile phone company tendered their resignations December last year after the Nigeria Communication Commission (NCC) sanction for 5.1 million unregistered phone lines.
The website takes you through Ikpoki’s achievements at managerial and board levels.
A lawyer by training, the former CEO of MTN Nigeria has over 20 years corporate experience including fourteen years in the telecoms sector.
His six years public service engagement was with the NCC while 14 years spent at MTN Group ( as CEO of MTN Nigeria and MTN Ghana) spanned regulatory, advisory, commercial and senior executive positions. He held CEO-country leadership roles in the last 4-5 years.
