MTN: No link with branded condoms

MTN Nigeria says it not associated with pictures of MTN-branded contraceptives being circulated on various social media platforms.

The mobile phone company issued the disclaimer in a statement in the wake of the condoms that showed up on social media purporting to be associated with MTN.

“Please note that MTN Nigeria does not manufacture condoms and we disassociate ourselves any communication or pictures posted on social media that suggests otherwise”, the mobile phone company said.

Some photographs of MTN-branded condoms that have been circulating on the social media spurred the disclaimer.
