The National Association of Telecommunications Consumers of Nigeria (NATCOMS) has sent a condolence message to the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) over the demise of Emma Nnamah, the former boss of the telecoms regulatory agency.
According to a report by ScanNews Nigeria, the former Executive Vice Chairman and CEO of NCC was killed by unknown gunmen in Nibo Community in Awka South Local Government Area of Anambra State.
“We commiserate with the Nigerian Communications Commission and the Ministry of Communications Technology”, Deolu Ogunbanjo, National President of NATCOMS said.
According to him, the telecoms advocacy group is said to hear about the passing away of the former boss of the telecoms regulatory agency.
“After the tears have dried and the goodbyes have been said, all the Communication Technology Industry Players have to hold onto, are the happy memories that Dr. Emma Nnamah shared with a sector he served, diligently”, Ogunbanjo added.
