The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) says it recently presented sets of computers to Arewa House’s Center for Historical Documentation and Research, an affiliate of Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, Kaduna State, to fulfill its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

The computers were presented by Professor Umar Danbatta, the Executive Vice Chairman of NCC, who was represented by Hajia Hafsat Lawal, Assistant Director, Legal & Regulatory Services, NCC to Usman Suleiman, Head of Museum, Arewa House, who received them on behalf of the Centre.

Arewa House is located in the residence of late Sir Ahmadu Bello, the Sarduna of Sokoto and Premier of the Northern Region. The Centre is concerned with research and documentation of the history and culture of northern Nigeria. It is also concerned with Contemporary Studies on Policy, Peace and Conflict Resolution and Good Governance.

Also present at the event is Ojugbo Grace, Principal Manager, Public Affairs and Haliru Jega, Consumer Affairs Bureau, NCC, according to the telecoms regulatory agency.
