Displeased telecom services consumers have been advised by the industry regulator to contact their respective service provider when they face network and other service quality problems, as a first line of resolution.
Nigeria Communications Commission (NCC) said that the service provider is expected to issue complaint ticket number to phone users who register complainants with them.
“Should the service provider fail to resolve the issues raised, a displeased consumer can take a step further by lodging his/her complaint with the NCC for redress”, the regulator added.
According to the telecoms watchdog, consumers can either call the NCC Contact Centre toll-free line with a valid complaint ticket number from the service provider on 622 or fill the online complaint form on the NCC website to lodge their complaints.
