The Nigeria Computer Society (NCS) has announced that the 2015 National Information Technology Merit Awards (NITMA) will hold on November 26.
According to NCS, NITMA is designed to acknowledge, celebrate and reward corporate organisations and individuals who are outstanding in their various Information Technology (IT) practice and have also contributed immensely to the development of the profession in Nigeria.
NITMA is awarded to companies and individuals with valid licenses to practice Information Technology (IT) in Nigeria and must have registered with NCS, Computer Professionals Registration Council of Nigeria (CPN) and Corporate Affairs Commission (for corporate organisations), the body says.
One of the high points of the event is the award of the IT Personality for the year 2015. Last year’s edition was won by Austin Okere, MD, Computer Warehouse Group in 2014.
